Adrian Horn is an Honorary Research Associate at the Department of History at Lancaster University, and an Associate Lecturer in Social Sciences with The Open Univeristy.

Adrian is a Cultural/ Design Historian specialising in twentieth century Americana, particularly juke boxes and the cultural trappings of young people. He has a long-standing interest in youth culture, design and popular music and has researched these cultural areas for many years.His main interest lies in the relationships between design and popular cultue, and design and style as disseminators of culture and vice versa.
